Chevron El Segundo Refinery Reports

MIAMI, FL (DTN) — Chevron’s 290,000 bpd El Segundo refinery in California reported flaring beginning September 2 at 8:01 p.m. PT due to planned maintenance, according to a filing with the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
The company initially estimated the incident would end September 2 at 12:00 p.m. PT, but regulators noted flaring activity is still ongoing. Chevron did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
