EIA: Propane/Propylene Stocks Up 1% W/W

VIENNA (DTN) — The Energy Information Administration reported on Wednesday total domestic propane/propylene stocks of 99.918 million bbl in the week ending September 19, up 987,000 bbl week-on-week and 2.095 million bbl, or 2.1% higher than in the same week last year.
Data show propane/propylene exports last week averaged 1.922 million bpd, down 50,000 bpd week-on-week and 65,000 bpd, or 3.4%, higher than in the same week last year.
Implied demand for propane/propylene in the United States averaged 895,000 bpd, up 43,000 bpd week-on-week and 16,000 bpd, or 1.8% higher than in the same week last year.
EIA reports domestic propane/propylene production averaged 2.885 million bpd, down 1,000 bpd week-on-week and 198,000 bpd, or 6.9% higher than in the same week last year.
East Coast PADD 1 inventories ended the week at 7.862 million bbl, down 771,000 bbl week-on-week and 5,000 bbl, or 0.1% higher than in the same week last year.
Midwest PADD 2 inventories ended the week at 26.804 million bbl, up 749,000 bbl week-on-week and 1.233 million bbl, or 4.6% lower than in the same week last year.
Gulf Coast PADD 3 inventories ended the week at 59.949 million bbl, up 887,000 bbl week-on-week and 3.909 million bbl, or 6.5% higher than in the same week last year.
Combined inventories in the Rockies and the West Coast, PADD 4 and 5, ended the week at 5.303 million bbl, up 122,000 bbl week-on-week and 585,000 bbl, or 11% lower than in the same week last year.
