Pilot Rolls Out Digital Upgrades for Drivers

MIAMI, FL (DTN) –Pilot, the largest network of travel centers in North America, has rolled out mobile ordering alongside a refreshed website and an updated Pilot app, giving drivers more ways to plan stops before they arrive, according to a company statement released Tuesday (9/23).

On a long haul, every minute matters. Pilot, is betting that its latest round of digital upgrades will help drivers cut down on wait times and keep their focus on the road ahead.

Orders for road essentials and automotive supplies can now be placed in advance, with alerts sent when items are ready for pickup. Pilot expects to expand the service to nearly 400 locations by the end of 2025.
For drivers, the changes are aimed at shaving time off routine stops. Instead of waiting in line to buy supplies or check availability, they can use their phones to make those arrangements in advance. “Whether fueling up, securing parking, or planning ahead, our digital tools are built to keep drivers moving efficiently,” said Brad Anderson, President of Retail at Pilot.

Beyond mobile ordering, the Pilot app, formerly myRewards Plus, now integrates more of the tools drivers use daily. Features include mobile fueling, parking and shower reservations, and personalized offers tied to the company’s myRewards loyalty program. The rewards system has also expanded into Canada, allowing professional drivers to earn points at Flying J locations.
