Thursday:
– A cold front moving into the region will cause the best chances for showers and storms to shift to eastern portions of the region, mainly GA, FL, and the Carolinas.
– Drier weather will prevail in the Mississippi Valley.
– Temperatures: Near to a couple of degrees below normal for most areas, and near seasonal across Florida.
Friday:
– Scattered thunderstorms may continue across Florida, especially the southern portion of the state.
– Elsewhere, mainly dry weather is forecast outside of a few stray showers along coastal regions.
– Temperatures: Near to a couple of degrees below normal for most areas, and near seasonal across Florida.
Saturday:
– Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms expected over the Florida Peninsula as well as the southern Appalachians where a cold front will evolve.
– Drier weather continues in the Carolinas and much of the Gulf Coast.
– Temperatures: Near seasonal along the Gulf and Atlantic Coasts, but falling to 4-8 degrees below normal inland.
