Stormy Ahead of Cold Front

A cold front will produce scattered showers and storms over the next few days.

– Scattered showers and thunderstorms across the entire region as a cold front advances through.

– Temperatures: 4-8 degrees above normal for most, trending closer to normal farther west.

Temperatures are expected to verify for most areas, outside of any areas affected directly by precipitation.

Tomorrow’s Weather Highlights:

– Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly across Georgia, Florida, and the Carolinas.

– Thunderstorms will largely push off to the east overnight.

– Temperatures: Largely within 2-4 degrees of normal, with a 2-6 degree above normal temperatures along the Atlantic Coast.

3-5 DAY EXTENDED OUTLOOK:

Saturday:

– A few lingering showers and storms possible across Georgia, Florida, and the Carolinas.

– Most areas are expected to be drier.

– Temperatures: 2-4 degrees above normal for all.

Sunday:

– More lingering activity once again possible across the Carolinas and the immediate Atlantic Coast states.

– Most other areas are likely to be dry, though some isolated afternoon storm activity is possible across peninsular Florida.

– Temperatures: 3-5 degrees above normal for all.

Monday:

– Scattered showers becoming possible along the immediate coast.

– Activity may be highly dependent on potential tropical development in the Bahamas.

– Western areas remaining mostly dry.

– Temperatures: 3-5 degrees above normal for all.
