Today’s Weather Highlights:

– Scattered thunderstorms may continue across Florida, especially the southern portion of the state.

– Elsewhere, mainly dry weather is forecast outside of a few stray showers along coastal regions.

– Temperatures: Within a couple of degrees of normal for all.

Forecast Confidence: Medium-High

Temperatures should verify well for most, though areas that see showers and storms may trend slightly cooler due to cloud cover.

Tomorrow’s Weather Highlights:

– Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected over the Florida Peninsula as well as the southern Appalachians, where a cold front will push in.

– Drier weather continues in the Carolinas and much of the Gulf Coast.

– Temperatures: Near seasonal along the Gulf and Atlantic Coasts, but 2-4 degrees below normal further inland.

Forecast Confidence: Medium-High.

3-5 DAY EXTENDED OUTLOOK:

Sunday: 

– Scattered showers and thunderstorms will linger across Florida and along the coasts.

– Drier weather develops further inland.

– Temperatures: Near seasonal along the Gulf and Atlantic Coasts, but 3-6 degrees below normal further inland.

Monday:

– Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across Florida and along the Atlantic Seaboard.

– Dry weather persists elsewhere further inland.

– Temperatures: 4-8 degrees below normal for most, but near seasonal across Florida.

Tuesday:

– Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected over the Florida Peninsula.

– Drier weather continues from the Carolinas westward where high pressure will persist.

– Temperatures: Near seasonal along the Gulf Coast, trending 3-6 degrees below normal along the Atlantic Coast.
