Tuesday:
– Scattered showers and thunderstorms will again favor peninsular Florida as well as the Mississippi Valley.
– Persistent high pressure will keep drier conditions across the Carolinas and Deep South once again.
– Temperatures: 6-11 degrees above normal for most, near normal across peninsular Florida, and 3-5 degrees below normal across the Mississippi Valley.
Wednesday:
– Showers and storms possible, mainly in the northern areas through the day.
– Storms shift southward through the evening and overnight, spreading through much of the Deep South.
– Temperatures: Most areas 5-8 degrees above normal, but trending closer to normal further west.
Thursday:
– Better chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms spreading southward across the region.
– Temperatures: 4-8 degrees above normal for most, trending closer to normal farther west.
