Cash Soybean Meal Prices Lower, DDG Prices Mixed Last Week

Cash soybean meal prices were lower for the week and DDG prices were mixed.

AVERAGE FEED PRICE CHANGES FOR WEEK ENDED JUNE 6

 

SOYBEAN MEAL:

Central Illinois was down $1.92 per ton, southern Minnesota was down $2.03, Iowa was down $1.92 per ton and eastern Kansas prices were down $1.62 per ton.

 

SOYBEAN OIL:

Central Illinois was down 0.89 cent per pound and Iowa was down 1.01 cents per pound.

 

DISTILLERS CORN OIL:

Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota were unchanged, Illinois and Wisconsin were down 0.70 cent per ton, Indiana and Ohio were up 0.70 cent, and Nebraska, Missouri, Texas and Kansas were up 0.30 cent per pound.

 

DDG:

Illinois was down $1.50 per ton, Indiana was unchanged, Iowa was up 70 cents, Nebraska was down $2, and Minnesota was down $2 per ton. CIF NOLA export DDGS were down 70 cents per ton, delivered Chicago DDGS was steady, Texas border rail was, and California rail DDGS were steady.

 

MODIFIED WET DISTILLERS:

Nebraska was up 40 cents per ton, Minnesota and Wisconsin were down unchanged, and Iowa was up 20 cents per ton.

 

HOMINY:

FOB Illinois was up 67 cents per ton, delivered California was down 18 cents, FOB Nebraska truck was down $1.23, and FOB rail Texas/New Mexico was down 13 cents per ton.

 

CORN GLUTEN FEED:

Illinois was steady, Iowa was down 20 cents per ton rail delivered to Chicago was steady, and California was down 20 cents per ton.

 

CORN GLUTEN MEAL:

Illinois was down $1.50 per ton, Iowa was down $1.50, rail delivered to Chicago down $1.50, and Kansas City was steady.

 

CANOLA MEAL:

Velva, North Dakota 36% (oil) was down $4.92 per ton, Texas/New Mexico 36% prices were up $1.23, and California 36% was down $2.18 per ton.

 

SUNFLOWER MEAL:

Enderlin, North Dakota 35% (oil) was up $4 per ton and West Fargo, North Dakota 32% was up $4.

 

WHEAT MIDDS:

Minneapolis was down 30 cents per ton, Kansas City was steady, and Buffalo was steady.

 

RUMINANT BLOOD MEAL:

Missouri River price was down $80 per ton, while west Texas and west Kansas were down $20.

 

PORCINE BLOOD MEAL:

Iowa was steady, Indiana was unchanged, and the Southeast market was unchanged.

 

RUMINANT MEAT AND BONE MEAL:

Missouri River was up $1.50, Texas and west Kansas were down $4 per ton, Illinois was steady, Southeast market was steady, California was steady and Pacific Northwest was steady.

 

PORCINE MEAT AND BONE MEAL:

Iowa was up $10.50, Indiana was steady, the Southeast market was steady, and Missouri and Oklahoma were down $4 per ton.

 

COTTONSEED MEAL AND WHOLE COTTONSEED:

Cottonseed meal price in west Texas was steady, Mid-South was steady and Southeast market was steady, while whole cottonseed prices in Memphis North were steady, North Carolina was steady, West Texas was steady, and California market was steady for the week.
