Scattered showers, thunderstorms for the Northern Plains. Dry and warm temperatures for the Midwest.
A low pressure system will move into the Northern Plains later today and Thursday, providing scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to the region. Much of the Midwest will be dry on Thursday with high temperatures reaching into the upper 80s in southern Iowa and near 90 degrees Fahrenheit in southern Illinois and Missouri.
