15.00-20.00 higher. Heifer calves over 450lbs 4.00-9.00 higher, under 450lbs
9.00-11.00 higher. With receipts lighter this week, demand stayed very strong,
resulting in higher prices, especially on lighter weight cattle. Slaughter cows
steady to 4.00 higher. Lean cows 3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.00 higher.
Devastating wildfires tore through Northwest Oklahoma and the Panhandle this
week, burning more than 300,000 acres so far.
