SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   SC Livestock Auctions: Compared to last week feeder cattle sold 
sharply higher. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 510.00; 
400-450 lbs 490.00-500.00; 500-550 lbs 442.50; 550-600 lbs 435.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 450.00-455.00; 400-450 lbs 
445.00-460.00; 450-500 lbs 430.00; 500-550 lbs 380.00-405.00; 600-650 lbs 
345.00-350.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 500.00-
520.00, 400-450 lbs 480.00-500.00, 500-550 lbs 420.00-430.00, 550-600 lbs 
390.00-415.00, 600-650 lbs 377.50. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean

   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was not reported. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 66.18; 450-500 lbs 75.55; 500-550 lbs 75.40.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 1 cent higher and New Crop bids 
were steady to 1 cent higher; elevator bids 5.02, processor bids 5.17. 
Soybeans were 1 cent lower; elevator bids 10.93-11.53, processor bids 
n/a, and export 11.73. Wheat bids were 1 to 10 cents higher; elevator 
bids 5.07, processor bids were 4.77-6.97.
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 12 
cents higher at 62.76.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
