Compared to last Wednesday: Feeder steers sold 2.00-4.00 lower. Feeder heifers
under 500 lbs. traded 10.00-12.00 lower and those over 500 lbs. were steady.
The better quality, weaned calves in favorable condition sold near the previous
week's prices but the bawling and short weaned "soft" calves were discounted
heavily. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower and slaughter bulls were
2.00-3.00 higher.
