Western Iowa Precondition Sale.  No comparison, as the previous sale was not 
Precondition.  The auction consisted of three load lots, many half loads and 
smaller packages.  CME feeder cattle futures dropping 3.00 today.  Steers 
showing a lower trend with mostly lower numbers this week.  Upward trend in 
heifers with limited numbers over 700 lbs.  Flesh condition also determining 
price today.  Decent crowd in the arena, after a winter storm passed through 
the area yesterday.  Demand good, especially with advertised replacement 
heifers and light calves.
