Compared to last week, improved quality offerings and firm support from the
feeder futures contributed to stronger demand across the board. Feeder steers
and bulls traded $10.00 to $20.00 higher, while feeder heifers sold $10.00 to
$15.00 higher. Slaughter cattle traded mostly steady. Replacement cows with
quality characteristics were met with good demand.
