Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 2.00 lower and Holstein slaughter
steers were mostly steady. Slaughter heifers were 3.00 higher. Slaughter
Holstein cows were 3.00 higher while slaughter cows were trending lower based
on a limited comparison. Slaughter bulls were 8.00 lower and slaughter
Holstein bulls were 8.00 higher. Choice/prime slaughter lambs were 5.00 lower
with good demand. No comparison available on slaughter kids due to a limited
comparison, but good demand was noted.
