Severe Storms in the Midwest Again on Tuesday
Strong-to-severe thunderstorms for the Upper Midwest. Another low-pressure system moves from the Plains through the Midwest Tuesday.
A low-pressure system moving through the Northern Plains on Monday afternoon will move into the Upper Midwest, producing strong-to-severe thunderstorms capable of strong tornadoes and extremely large hail. That threat shifts a bit farther south into Iowa, northern Illinois, and southern Wisconsin for Tuesday as another low-pressure system moves through an active corridor of weather from the Plains through the Midwest, a corridor that will be active all week.
