FEEDER CATTLE 9756 11171 5170
Compared to last week: Feeder steers 3.00 to 8.00 higher, instances of 10.00
to 13.00 higher. Feeder heifers 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Very good demand for
all weights of steers and heifers. More optimism was infused into the market
as packers were forced to give more money for fat cattle this week. Cow/calf
producers are quick to get their cattle consigned to a sale as the market
returns to it's historic highs. Mild weather this week made for easier work to
get cattle shipped to town. Very good demand remains for replacement quality
heifers.
