Compared to the sale 2 weeks ago feeder lambs sold 10.00-30.00 higher.
Slaughter lambs sold 20.00-40.00 higher. Slaughter ewes sold 5.00-15.00
higher. In the goat portion of the auction feeder kid goats sold 65.00-90.00
higher with slaughter kid goats selling 50.00-60.00 higher. Slaughter nannies
sold 20.00-40.00 higher. Supply was heavy with very good demand. A number of
replacement ewes were pregnancy checked by ultrasound and they are noted by SPR
and WIN. A standing room only crowd was on hand with a number of online
buyers. The high selling slaughter lambs crossed the scales at 460.00/cwt.
The top selling feeder kid goats sold for 560.00/cwt. with the high selling
slaughter kid goats at 520.00/cwt.
