Dry, warm for most of the country. Mix of rain, snow for the Northeast.
It is fairly quiet across the country on Thursday afternoon with a few showers in the Northwest and Northeast. Extreme heat continues to build in the Southwest and into the Plains and will be even warmer on Friday. Outside of another system moving through the Northeast with a mix of rain and snow, large areas of the country will again be dry.
